Why Quietharbor

What you get that you won't find elsewhere.

Our programmes are built around three things that matter most to people approaching retirement: clarity, calm, and keeping the right people in charge of their own affairs.

Entry 01 — Overview

Six things Quietharbor does well

1. Source transparency

Every factual statement is traced to a named public source — KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN, or a named ministry document — so participants can verify it independently.

2. Strict scope discipline

We do not give financial, legal, or tax advice. When a question exceeds our scope, we write it down and direct the participant to the appropriate body — clearly and without delay.

3. Small group sizes

Group sessions cap at fifteen participants. Every person has space to ask questions without hurrying on. The pace is set by the group, not by a slide count.

4. Physical and digital outputs

Every programme produces something tangible: a printed reference booklet, an organised submission folder, or a labelled physical and digital archive that the participant keeps.

5. You remain in charge

In the one-to-one programme, you dictate and we type. You take the folder; you lodge it. Nothing is submitted on your behalf. Every decision about your paperwork is yours.

6. Twelve-month continuity

The stewardship plan runs for a full year with quarterly reminders, an annual review, and a family-ready summary sheet — so the right people can find what they need, when they need it.

Entry 02 — In Depth

A closer look at each benefit

2.1 — Expertise

Background in records administration, not sales

The people who run our sessions and sit with participants have backgrounds in public sector records management, clerical administration, and document coordination. They are not financial product distributors. Their interest is in helping you understand and organise your paperwork, not in directing you towards any particular product or service.

  • Over fifteen years of combined records administration experience
  • No commission arrangements — income comes only from programme fees
  • Annual review of session materials against current public information

2.2 — Process

An index approach to everything

Our sessions are structured as numbered reference entries with clear parent-child relationships. Participants receive a booklet organised the same way, so they can return to any topic without re-reading the whole document. The one-to-one sessions follow a three-stage process: read, organise, file. The stewardship plan follows an inventory–archive–remind–review cycle. Everything has a predictable structure.

2.3 — Service

Enquiries answered within two working days

We respond to all enquiries — by phone, email, or the contact form on this site — within two working days. Stewardship plan participants have a named coordinator for the duration of their twelve-month arrangement. If a scheduled session needs to be rescheduled, we give at least one week's notice and offer an alternative date.

2.4 — Value

Transparent, fixed fees with no add-ons

The fee for each programme is stated on this site and confirmed before you book. There are no add-on charges for the printed booklet, the filing index, the submission folder, or the family summary sheet — these are part of the programme. The annual stewardship plan covers all four quarterly reminders, the review meeting, and the end-of-year sheet within the single annual fee.

  • Group session: RM 480 per participant
  • One-to-one support: RM 1,200 for three sessions
  • Annual stewardship: RM 4,300 per household

2.5 — Results

You leave with something you can use

Group session participants leave with a printed reference booklet and a blank filing index. One-to-one participants leave with a completed, organised submission folder ready to lodge themselves. Stewardship plan households have their documents inventoried, archived, and maintained throughout the year, with a one-page family summary at the end. The outcome of every programme is concrete and in your possession before the engagement ends.

Entry 04 — What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive features of our approach

Printable A5 reference cards

Every service in our group session booklet comes with a printable A5 index card showing the document name, typical issuing body, retention recommendation, and a blank line for the participant's own reference number. These cards are designed to be kept in a physical folder alongside the actual documents.

The "where everything is" sheet

Stewardship plan participants receive, at the end of each twelve-month term, a single A4 page written in plain English listing every document in the archive, its physical and digital location, and who to contact if it is needed. This sheet is written with a family member in mind — someone who may need to locate documents quickly without prior knowledge of the archive.

Written referral notes

When a one-to-one session pauses because a field requires a personal judgement, we write the question down in a structured note — stating the field name, the form it appears on, and the issuing body's public contact details. The participant leaves with this note and can raise the exact question with the correct office, without having to reconstruct it from memory.

No-referral-fee professional directory

We maintain a directory of qualified professionals — solicitors, licensed financial planners, and accountants — for participants who need regulated advice. We receive no referral fees from any professional on this list. The directory is maintained as a public-interest resource, not as a commercial arrangement.
